Publication (for Opposition)
Once a Mark is allowed, it is published for a 30-day Opposition period, during which anyone who might be adversely affected by the registration of the Mark may file an Opposition and state their reasons why the Mark should be denied registration – if the Mark was filed as Intent-to-use, then a Notice of Allowance will issue for an unopposed Mark after the Opposition period; if it was filed as an Actual Use application, the Mark will proceed to register.
